Rube Yelvington, 1924-2008

Rube Yelvington, former mayor of West Point who helped organize Music Ranch USA and served as its manager for many years, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. He was 84. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 26, at the Music Ranch.
